Title IX: Sexual Misconduct Reporting

The University encourages individuals who have experienced Prohibited Sexual Conduct to talk about what happened so they can get the support they need and so the University can respond appropriately. This section identifies University employees who are authorized to receive reports, their roles, and their ability to maintain an individual’s confidentiality. It also identifies non-University reporting options.

When a report is made to the Title IX Coordinator, the Title IX Coordinator will meet with the Complainant to determine whether an investigation should occur. To the extent possible, information reported to the Title IX Coordinator will be shared only with people responsible for handling the University's response to the report.
